Smart Video & Sensing Ltd, SVS, a leading value-added reseller in the transport sector have today announced a new partnership in the UK and Ireland with GIFAS ELECTRIC of Rheineck, Switzerland.
Gifas-Electric are manufacturers and distributors of electro-technical equipment (e.g. power distribution boxes, underfloor distribution systems, LED technical lights, electromechanical bollards etc.). They first went to market over 50 years ago with their innovative junction boxes and housings made from a special butyl‐rubber mix. Gifas products are widely acclaimed and used within many industries including highways, rail, waterways, construction, power, military and other emergency service industries.
Another important product sector is the optical guidance systems for road tunnels, where GIFAS are market leaders in Switzerland (more than 20,000 installed LED road marker units in over 80 tunnels).
